Enpass users may use the desktop version of the password manager for free, the mobile version is limited to 10 passwords.īitwarden has no such restriction, which means that users of the password manager may use it on mobile and desktop devices, and have no restrictions on the number of passwords that they may store using the service.Īnother major difference is that Enpass is an offline password manager first and foremost. Overall though if security is your main concern so far Bitwarden has far exceeded my expectations. Both password managers include a free option, but the first difference becomes obvious right then and there. It is always nice to see they are looking to constantly better the product for their users. Maybe it’s just me not having much experience with other password managers (coming from KeePass a cloud service with sharing was already a step up) but overall having a password manager makes my life more productive, less stressful with forgotten password and generation, and keeps me better secure online.ĭefinitely a bit of a learning curve to understand how Bitwarden operates yes. I personally would much rather a password manager focus on security of their product and prioritize security above all else before adding features if that comes at a cost to security.īitwarden definitely seemed to fit the bill for me when I was looking around, and while they are always looking to add new features and better the user experience I’ve personally never had any real shortcomings when it comes to useage. I will say, while there are definitely some nice-to-have features that are more niche when it comes to some other password managers such as LastPass or 1Password to name a few.

LastPass is very focused on implementing lots of nifty features, whereas Bitwarden is very focused on keeping things simple and secure.
